Kropf December 2024
“And he said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind'” (Matthew 22:37).
Wishing you the best during this Christmas season and many thanks for your prayers and support for us during 2024!
We would love to share with you some of the wonderful things God has called us to be a part of recently. Del continues to work on organizing and training the missionaries on the purchasing and ordering process. When missionaries order items they need for the Village, if they have any problems or questions, they call Del to help walk them through the process. Sometimes there are items they need that are not available, so he helps them locate these items and find them at a reasonable cost. Our missionaries are so busy and having Del help them with this process is a huge blessing. After the items are ordered and approved then Del purchases them and they are shipped here to the Home Office. Then they will be loaded onto a shipping container headed to a Rafiki Village. We are currently shipping a total of twenty containers each year to all our ten Villages.
Del has also been involved in working with Rafiki Classical Academy (RCA), a classical Christian school that is on the campus here in Eustis, Florida. Del has been a part of the remodeling of two different buildings as they are needing more classroom space. He has been working with outside sources, planning, and getting permits for mobile classrooms. They are hoping to have the modular units in place by the first of next year so they can be ready to have students in them by March 2025. This is an exciting time for Rafiki as RCA uses the same Rafiki classical Christian curriculum that we have been using in Africa. The school started with sixteen students last year and has over fifty this year. Looking forward, Del would love to travel to Africa sometime next year and help coordinate repairs in our Villages in Africa.
Lisa returned the first of November from a three-week trip to four of our Rafiki Villages in Ghana, Liberia, Rwanda, and Nigeria. In Ghana she drove into Accra and visited three of our graduates: Jennifer who is in her third year studying Information Technologies, and Kofi and Gifty who are studying Nursing. Pray for our graduates to stay strong in their faith and find a strong community of believers . We encouraged the ones we visited to start a Rafiki Bible Study at their schools.

In all the Villages, Lisa met with the national ChildCare Assistant and the Rafiki Mothers. It is always a blessing to spend time with them. Many of them have been serving for a long time.

In Nigeria a highlight was all the graduates came back to the Village on a Saturday while we were there. When we were in Abuja waiting for our flight, a Rafiki graduate came and visited us with her husband and child. They are a beautiful Christian couple involved in their church and community.
