My Name is
Valante
Valante
Valante's mother died of complications while giving birth to him, and his father died shortly after her. An aunt was called to take care of Valante. She was unable to continue caring for both Valante and her own four children. After looking into the situation, Social Welfare gave approval for Valante to be placed at the Rafiki Village Rwanda 2010. He soon thrived in his new environment. Valante is a quiet young man who is often a peacemaker. He enjoys creating artwork in school. He has learned the power of prayer, and he knows that he can bring his specific requests before God. Valante has seen God answer his prayers, and this has strengthened his faith. He knows that God has a plan for him after he completes his studies at Rafiki.
