My Name is
Sophie
Sophie
Sophie was found abandoned and malnourished as young child. She was taken to the local police station and then referred to a babies' home, where many fruitless attempts were made to locate her relatives. She arrived at Rafiki Village Uganda in May 2004. Now, Sophie is a studious young woman. She enjoys school, especially studying science. She appreciates the truth that God created the universe, that God gave wisdom to people to solve problems, and that He is creative. Sophie chose Daniel 2:21b as her favorite Bible verse because “God also gives me wisdom to understand.” She knows that God is in every subject because of the way they are taught in Rafiki Schools. Sophie strives to show God's love through her actions.
