My Name is
Scolastika
Scolastika
Scolastika and her sister, Furahini, lived with their grandmother after their father died and their mother disappeared. Their widowed grandmother cared for ten children of her own and three grandchildren. Though she tried, their grandmother could not provide for their basic needs. She asked if Rafiki would provide a permanent home for Furahini and Scolastika. The girls arrived at the Rafiki Village Tanzania in 2014. Scolastika soon proved to be a good student and a diligent worker. She is thankful to be at the Rafiki Village because she receives a good education and learns about God each day in school and at home. Scolastika loves the verse in the book of Revelation that tells her we "will see His face" (Revelation 22:4). She looks forward to Christ's return so she can glorify and enjoy him forever.
