My Name is
Naomie
Naomie
Naomie was living with her mother in Burundi when her mother became ill and died. When a family friend heard that she had died, she traveled to Burundi and brought Naomie back to Rwanda. Naomie lived with this woman for a time before the woman fell seriously ill and was no longer able to care for her. Social Welfare approved Naomie to be placed in the care of the Rafiki Village Rwanda in 2009. Naomie has learned how to pray and wait patiently on the Lord. She trusts God fully with every part of her life. As her faith grows, Naomie is increasingly thankful to be at Rafiki.
