My Name is
Mapalo

Mapalo
Mapalo’s is a double orphan; her mother died in 2006, and her father died in 2008. After her father died, she lived with her cousin who had five children of his own to care for and was also unemployed. Child protection services requested that Mapalo be placed at the Rafiki Village in Zambia. Mapalo is full of energy and likes to play soccer and do puzzles. She is doing well in all subjects, but her favorites are math and science. She also enjoys reading her Bible. Her favorite verse is Romans 5:8. She continues to pray for courage and determination in all things.
