Lucia

Lucia’s mother died shortly after she gave birth to her and there were no records of her father or other relatives. Lucia was placed with temporary caregivers and then moved to a babies’ home. Social welfare recommended that she be brought to the Rafiki Village Kenya, and she arrived in 2005 just in time to spend Christmas with her new family. Lucia loves to sing and is amazed by God’s creation. After she graduates, she hopes to become an artist so she can capture some of the beauty she sees around her. She enjoys attending church and participating in cottage prayer meetings. Her favorite part of each day is when she spends time in God’s Word. Lucia prays that she will always follow Christ no matter the cost and that she will make wise decisions.
