My Name is
Joseph Owen
Joseph Owen
Owen and his three siblings were living in a situation that required immediate intervention according to Uganda social welfare. Their father died in July 2006 from complications due to AIDS, and their mother was also HIV+ and not expected to live long. The children are all HIV negative, but they were very thin and anemic when they were found. All four children arrived at the Rafiki Village Uganda in 2006. Owen and his siblings soon benefited from the quality care, nutritious food, and loving family environment at the Village. He knows that he has peace with God through Jesus, who has justified him before God. Owen loves reading Psalm 23 and always thanks God for a new day.
