My Name is
Jeremiah
Jeremiah
At two months of age, Jeremiah was abandoned at a local hospital. He was cared for by the hospital staff for a few months and then released to a babies' home in August of 2003. No relatives ever came to claim him. He came to the Rafiki Village Uganda in February 2005. Now, Jeremiah is pursuing vocational education on Rafiki Scholarship. He is an apprentice at a local salon as he works toward becoming a professional barber. He enjoys playing soccer in his free time. Jeremiah’s favorite hymn is “Trust and Obey,” and his favorite Bible character is—Jeremiah! Jeremiah is comforted by the fact that God knew him before he was born and that He has good plans for him. He prays that the Lord will guide him and give him wisdom.
