My Name is
Irene
Irene
After both her mother and father abandoned her, Irene lived with her grandmother for a time. Though she tried, Irene's grandmother could not provide for her needs and sought assistance for her upbringing. Irene arrived at the Rafiki Village Tanzania in 2009. She soon proved to be a talkative, fun, and athletic girl. She hopes to enter the medical field in the future. Irene has learned that only faith in Jesus Christ will save her. She continues to grow in her faith each day, relying on God's strength. Irene seeks to deepen her faith by reading and studying God's Word every day.
