Hillary
Hillary’s mother died in childbirth, so he was brought to the AIC babies’ home in Mogogosiek—a village four hours from Rafiki Village Kenya. He had no other relatives to care for him. He was welcomed to his new family at the Rafiki Village Kenya in October 2004. Like the other teenagers in the Village, Hillary is beginning to evaluate his faith and his relationship with Jesus Christ. He reads the Bible daily and is often picking out more Christian literature from the library. It was deemed necessary to move Hillary from Rafiki high school to a vocational school since his grades were not improving. He has been in the Christian Industrial Training Institute this past term. He is a hard worker and loves to work with his hands. Hillary is pursuing vocational training in plumbing and is learning a lot and loving it!
