Emmanuel
Emmanuel and his sister, Mary, were born to a mentally-ill mother who lacked the mental and physical faculties to care for them, and their father abandoned them. For the first three years of Emmanuel’s life, he lived on the streets. He and his sister arrived at the Rafiki Village Ghana in December 2002. Emmanuel reports that he sees God's faithfulness in guiding him to the Rafiki Village in Ghana, and he knows that God has His protecting hand on him.
