My Name is
Emmanuel
Emmanuel
Both Emmanuel's parents abandoned him when he was a small child. The foster family who cared for him could not continue and asked the Rafiki Foundation for help. Emmanuel arrived at the Rafiki Village Liberia in 2010 and bonded well with his Rafiki mother and siblings. Manny enjoys studying social studies. It is his goal to help his community by becoming a firefighter in the future. He wants to be able to save lives and property. Emmanuel seeks to please God. He knows from his favorite verse, Mark 11:22, that it is impossible to please God without faith.
