My Name is
Blessing
Blessing
Blessing and her twin brother Dalitso, had moved four times since their mother died when they were babies. They lived at two babies’ homes and then spent time with an uncle and then their grandmother. Social welfare conducted a home visit and found them to be very malnourished. They sought a permanent solution with the Rafiki Foundation. They arrived to their new permanent home in April 2013. Blessing is now in the 4th grade. Blessing believes Jesus is the Son of God who died for us on the cross. She knows the Bible is God's holy Word. Blessing reads her Bible on her own and prays alone to God. She asks God to destroy all the power of the devil. God answered Blessing's prayer that school would re-open after being closed because of a cholera outbreak. A new hymn Blessing has learned is "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name."
