After Violet’s parents died, her elderly grandfather enlisted her for household help with chores, cooking, and carrying firewood. She needed adequate care and the opportunity to learn. She arrived at the Rafiki Village Malawi in 2007. She now enjoys language arts and writing. Violet knows Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. She prays to have strong faith in Jesus, to work hard in her studies, and to always seek unity, peace, and love in her community.
