Stella
Stella was abandoned by her mother at Kakamega Provincial General Hospital. The police could not find her mother, and Stella was referred to a babies’ home. No one came forward to claim her. New Life Home was unable to find an adoptive home for Stella, and Social Welfare referred her to Rafiki. She arrived at the Rafiki Village in Kenya in January 2007. Stella has many talents. She enjoys playing soccer and is good at math, science, and language arts. She consistently cooperates with others and commits to doing her best and enjoys school. Stella has learned the importance of praying without ceasing and giving thanks to God in all circumstances.
