Rachel
Rachel was one of thirteen children living at a farm with her grandparents. Rachel’s brother Alick was accepted to the Rafiki Village Zambia in 2009. The family requested that Rafiki also consider his sister. With thirteen children, the family struggled to care for the children well. Rachel was approved and arrived at the Rafiki Village Zambia in October 2011. Rachel knows God has given her a new heart, saved her, and made her His child. Rachel praises Jesus as the King of Kings. Throughout her time at Rafiki, God has answered her prayers to heal the sick, guide her family, and take care of Rafiki. Rachel shows traits of loyalty, truthfulness, and justice.
