My Name is
Leah

Leah
Leah was abandoned as a baby, and her parents remain unknown. She was in a babies’ home in Kitui for over two years, and no one came to visit her. She was referred to the Rafiki Foundation by social welfare and arrived at the Rafiki Village Kenya in 2005. Leah shows an interest in language arts, especially literature and writing. She also enjoys playing soccer. She has learned that Christians should not grow weary of doing good and should pray without ceasing. Specifically, she has learned from the book of Hebrews that Jesus suffered in order to sanctify us through His blood. She continues to pray to do well academically and grow in her faith.
