My Name is
Bernice

Bernice
Bernice was in the care of her paternal uncle before arriving at the Rafiki Village Nigeria. Prior to that, she was cared for by her older siblings, but they could not provide for Bernice's basic needs. She was referred by Social Welfare and her extended family to Rafiki. She arrived at the Village in 2006. Bernice now enjoys being in school and excels in art class. When she finishes school, she wants to work in the healthcare field or be an agriculturalist. From studying the letters to the Thessalonians using the Rafiki Bible Study, she has made the commitment to stand firm in her faith. Bernice prays that she will continue to grow into a woman after God's own heart.
