My Name is
Anne

Anne
Anne’s mother is physically handicapped and unable to care for her. Her mother depends entirely on Anne's impoverished grandmother for care. Though she tried, Anne’s grandmother could not provide for her basic needs. The Rafiki Foundation was contacted and asked to assume Anne's care. She arrived at the Rafiki Village Kenya in 2009. She quickly adjusted to her new life and became excited about attending school. Anne has a quiet but kind personality. She does well in math and language arts, and she is responsible and turns in her work in a timely manner.
