Amelia and her sister, Jamesetta, and brother, Jimmy, arrived at Rafiki Village Liberia in October 2012. Though they tried, the children's aunt and grandmother could not properly care for them. Amelia likes to learn about numbers and study mathematics. She hopes to be a scientist, a doctor, or a teacher when she grows up. She believes that it is important to do well in school because it will help you reach your dreams. She thanks God every day in her prayers. Her favorite hymn is "O The Deep, Deep Love of Jesus" because it reminds her that Jesus' love is deep, wide, and everlasting.
