Find out what students are studying, what new products are released at the Exchange, important statistics of the countries in which we work, and news from the Home Office. January 13, 2012: School bells rang out January 9 to launch the 2012 school year at all ten Rafiki Villages. Unlike US schools, Rafiki is on the quarter system with students attending class year-round, separated by 2-to-3-week breaks between quarters. A total of 720 Rafiki resident children and 444 non-resident day students assembled to sing their national anthems, hear words of encouragement, and pray before marching off to class. Please pray for the teachers, their assistants, and each of our 1,164 students.

December 15, 2011: The Rafiki Home Office is closed from December 16 – January 1, 2012. Although the office is closed, ten Rafiki Villages are up and running for the holidays. For some of our children, this may be their first Christmas celebration! May it be filled with joy and peace. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
December 9, 2011: Twenty-two Rafiki Village directors and Education directors are at the Home Office this week to receive training on the Rafiki Christian Classical Method. This intense training will equip them to train Rafiki teachers and partner church educators how to use the classical Rafiki school curriculum. On Wednesday, they observed actual teaching at a classical school in Ormond Beach, FL. The days are long, the training intense, but in the end, an estimated 11 million African children will be educated using the Rafiki Christian Classical Method. Amazing...to God be the glory!
November 28, 2011: Rafiki's Home Office team returned November 17th from a 3-233k tour of the East Africa Villages. The exhausted-but-exuberant team reports that the 7 Villages are in excellent shape and the children are thriving. Accolades go to the Rafiki Overseas Staff who "make it all happen!" Rafiki schools continue to attract major attention from church/gov't leaders who seek our curriculum and teacher trining. God is opening doors for the Rafiki school program to have a huge impact on these nations. The Widows Program, likewise, is gaining momentum so keep an eye out for new product lines. In sum, we humbly conclude, "to God be the glory!"
